Connectors are elementary components so they aren't directly aimed by the E.M.C. directive, but their use brings them to have an essential role in this environment.

Therefore Jaeger Connecteurs wanted to demonstrate and to guarantee the electromagnetic efficiency of its shielding with tests series in the Laboratoire  de Radiopropagation Electrique in Lille (LRPE) partner with CNRS.

In order to guarantee the connectors quality the LRPE works in accordance with the CEI 96.1 norm, which concerns "cables for radioelectric frequency" and which is directly transposed to connectors.
