DESCRIPTION

CONNECTORS WITH 3, 4 OR 7 CONTACTS
Each plug comprises:

- A pin or socket neoprene insert housed in a cup of nickel plated aluminium alloy. The pin or socket contacts are inserted into the insert cavities after being soldered or crimped on to the wires. The insert is not removable.

- A knurled coupling ring of nickel plated light alloy and an inner cup. A stainless steel spring is compressed between the cup and

— An adapter, screwed to the rear of the cup, and locked with a spring. Three different types are available for connecting the front part of the plug either to a series of wires (with cable clamp or not) or to a preformed cable (with a gland).
Each cable connecting plug comprises :

- A barrel of nickel plated light alloy, with four stainless steel locking balls

- A pin or socket neoprene insert housed in the barrel. The pin or socket contacts are inserted into the insert cavities after being soldered or crimped on to the wires. The insert is not removable. — An adapter screwed to the rear of the barrel, and locked with a spring. Cable connecting plugs and plugs use the same adapters.
Each receptacle comprises:

- A shell of nickel plated aluminium alloy with four stainless steel locking balls. According to the type, the flange is square or circular.

- A pin or socket neoprene insert housed in the shell. Pin or socket contacts are inserted into the insert cavities after being soldered or crimped on to the wires. The insert is not removable. Circular flange receptacles are supplied with a jam nut, a lockwasher and a sealing "0" ring.

CONNECTORS WITH 12-19-27-37 OR 55 CONTACTS
Each plug comprises:

- A pin or socket neoprene insert housed in a nickel plated brass cup. Pin or socket contacts are pressed into the insert cavities after being soldered or crimped on to the wires. The insert is not removable.

- A cup of nickel plated brass provided with coupling keys.

- A shell, made from two halves of nickel plated light alloy, tightened on to the groove in the cup end with four screws. The shell has three separate identical cable entries which may be used simultaneously. In each entry the shell can hold one bushing or cable clamp ; unused entries should be sealed with blanking plates supplied with each plug.
Each cable connecting plug comprises :

- A pin or socket neoprene insert housed in a barrel of nickel plated aluminium bronze, provided with three coupling grooves. Pin or socket contacts are pressed into the insert cavities after being soldered or crimped on to the wires. The insert is not removable.
Each receptacle comprises:

- A shell of nickel plated aluminium bronze provided with three coupling grooves.

- A pin or socket neoprene insert housed in the shell. Pin or socket contacts are pressed into the insert cavities after being soldered or crimped on to the wires. The insert is not removable.
