THIS SERIES PRESENTS A CHOICE OF TWO PIN INSERT RECEPTACLES :
1. SOLDER MOUNTING;
2. JAM NUT MOUNTING.

Working current: 6.3 amp. for (2 mm) .079 dia. contacts, 10 amp. for (3mm) .118dia. contacts,
Insulation resistance: more than 10,000 megohms (500 volts D.C.).
Flashover voltage : more than 1,500 volts A.C. (r.m.s.).
Contact resistance between pin and socket: less than 0.0025 ohm for (2 mm) .079 dia. contacts, less than 0.0015 ohm for (3 mm) .118 dia. contacts.
These values are given for standard atmospheric conditions NF.C 20-700 (International specification : CEI 584-1).
Pressure : 760 mm Hg (1,013 mbar) ;
Temperature : (20 °C) 68 °F ;
Relative humidity : 65 %. Mechanical: Glass sealing between pins and shell confers a high mechanical resistance.
Pressure differential between front and back : 50 bar. Overload pressure under test : 150 bar.
Conforming to temperature shock test limits per MIL-C-5015.
Air leakage : When checked by a mass spectrometer, leak rate is less than : 10-9/ATM./cu.cm/sec. Test : NF.C 20-717. (international specification : CEI 68-2-17).

FEATURES - INSTALLATION

operating temperature : (-50 °C to +125 °C) -58 °F to + 257 °F (500 hours at (150 °C) 302 °F). These connectors can be used beyond (125 °C) 257 °F, but with depreciated insulating qualities. Consult our Sales Engineering office. Will mate with socket insert plugs of either "Standard" or "Weatherproof" series. Soft solder is employed for mounting the receptacle and also for achieving the wire contact liaison ; choice of solder is determined by the operating temperature. Avoid uneven or local heating. DESCRIPTION

These receptacles each comprise a threaded steel shell with pin contacts insulated by glass sealing. The shell is protected by gold.
